Remember Your Muscle

Remember your muscle
The one that sings your song
Your voice
Speaks your vision, your truth
Proceeds from Spirit
Into and through you

Do not be sorry
For speaking your truth
Be wise – be clear
Listen and speak
Remember your muscle

Be at peace with this
Your muscle serves your peace
Our voice is heard as one
When you speak from your heart

Our love for you becomes you
In this speaking
Give voice to your knowing

Be our voice
Speak with authority

Remember your muscle

*Commentary: this poem comes from a fun writing exercise at a Meetup in Tempe. Five random words from a random library book, to be incorportated in a 15-minute free writing. These were the words: Proceding, sorry, women, muscle, remember. No editing on this one – thank you Spirit!
